Have you given your website the mom test? If sales are slow it may be that your site is tougher to use than you think. Maybe that checkout link is too difficult to find, maybe your fonts are too small. To see your website with fresh eyes, turn to good old mom (or another friend or relative not of the internet generation). If mom can't find your sizing chart or return policy, chances are some of your customers can't either and this could be costing you sales.
Have mom try to order some products from your website and take note of any place she might be having trouble completing her transaction. Those are the things that need improvement. Mom may even have some good ideas on how to make your site easier to use and more customer-friendly.
