August 2009 Newsletter For Creative Entrepreneurs

TIPS:

Imagine how you'd feel if you bought yourself a brand new pendant or bag only to have an email show up in your inbox 5 minutes later telling you that same bag or pendant could have been yours for 20% off! That's exactly how your customers feel when this happens to them. If you're adding new customers to your mailing list, there's every chance you could be sending them a discount on something they just purchased at full price a few minutes ago.

To get around this, consider adding new customers to a new customers list. This will insure that you aren't offering them a discount on something they just bought and making them feel ripped off. After each newsletter blast, move new customers to the main mailing list so they can receive future offers.
